“Texts Go Green” is Drake’s way of explaining that he needed to move on from a toxic relationship or person in his life.
The title is a reference to Apple devices, where iMessage users normally see their messages sent as blue bubbles, but being blocked or a number being changed will result in the bubble turning green as an SMS instead.
