“A Sweeter Place” is a Contemporary R&B collaboration with American rapper Kid Cudi. Both artists sing about wanting to find “a sweeter place” to keep their worries “all away.”
Although it is unclear when the pair first met and decided to collaborate, they took a photo together back in November 3, 2019, at ComplexCon.
Prior to the song’s official release, a snippet of it was heard in the album trailer for her third studio album, Rare, posted to her social media platforms on December 12, 2019.
